Tile Sarasota: This marble shower that we installed in Sarasota has a steam generator unit. The shower is fully enclosed so many precautions had to be taken to seal the walls prior to installing of the marble. The ceiling also was heavily reinforced to bear the weight of the marble. The tub deck granite slab was incorporated into the shower to be utilized as a seat. Pitch for the seat was created by making a seam under the glass enclosure to ensure proper water sheeting. The walls are 18X18 marble tiles and the bathroom floor is a matching 24X24 marble tile. The shower floor was cut into the size of the drain screen to achieve full tile around the drain and was made from the same tile as the walls.
